Located in Johto

Route 29 connects Cherrygrove City and New Bark Town. You can go from Cherrygrove City to New Bark Town without stepping into the tall grass, if you make good use of the ledges. Lyra will demonstrate how to catch a Pokemon, if you're willing to watch. Incidentally, the Pokemon she catches here accompanies her throughout the rest of the game.
