Search for Pokémon, moves, items, locations, and abilities
The Ability Patch allows you to switch a Pokémon's ability between its regular and hidden abilities, provided the species has more than one. Unlike the Ability Cap, the Patch can also revert a hidden ability back to a regular one if you prefer the standard option. This item is typically available later in the game, such as in Dragon's Den or as a Battle Tower reward.
